Research Interests

My specialty is Spanish linguistics, the study of the structure or function of the phonology, grammar, and lexicon of Spanish. In more concrete terms, I analyze the language data inputted to computers by various programs, and explore fixed tendencies or regularities in it. Furthermore, I have been continuing to investigate the regional variation of Modern Spanish by means of fieldwork or mail survey.
