Research Interests

Natural language processing; semantics and pragmatics in discourse which employs both language and visual modalities; the technology of answering questions in order to reply to any questions of users using a large quantity of texts as a knowledge source, and the improvement of this technology so as to allow its use in information access dialogue environments; the construction of a large-scale lexicon based on Lexical Conceptual Structure in order to describe the semantic properties of verbs systematically.
