Research Interests

Linguistics (morphology, syntax), cognitive neuroscience, natural language processing (NLP). Specifically, explicitly placing linguistics as a branch of cognitive science, I investigate the computational system of natural languages as well as develop "human-like" NLP models by comparing human language processing measured with behavioral experiments and functional neuroimaging in cognitive & brain sciences, and machine language processing implemented through computational models in NLP.
