Research Interests

I have a broad interest in the grammar of Modern Chinese. In particular, my research focuses on providing precise descriptions and conducting analyses—within the frameworks of functional linguistics and linguistic typology—of phenomena related to evidentiality, processes of grammaticalization, and newly emerging syntactic constructions in the language.
