Research Interests

I am interested in linguistics, particularly phonetics and phonology. My recent research topics include vowel devoicing, downstep, rendaku, and incomplete neutralization. By analysing data from various sources (e.g., experiments and grammar books), I explore the phonological grammar and mental representations underlying language.
