Research Interests

My work centers on the poetry, poetics, and philosophical writings of figures such as Hölderlin, Schiller, Schelling, Nietzsche, Trakl, and Heidegger. I explore the roles that poetry and philosophy have played in modernity, with particular attention to questions of the poetic, the tragic, the aesthetic, and the political.
